TRIPP COUNTY WATER USER DISTRICT

NOTICE OF 2023 ANNUAL MEETING

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Meeting of the Tripp County Water User District shall be held at the Tripp County Water User District Office at 1052 West 1st Street, in the City of Winner, Tripp County, South Dakota, on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the hour of 1:30 P. M., C. S. T.  At such meeting, the members may take up any business concerning the District as may be proper under the Bylaws of the District and other applicable law.

            NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the terms of three (3) Directors in Group III are expiring, naming Craig Covey, Robert Sperl Jr., and the vacancy position of Ray Bartels.  Pursuant to Article IV, Section 3 of the Amended and Restated Bylaws of the District, persons desiring to stand for election were required to submit petitions to the District office no later than December 15, 2022.  Because only three (3) petitions were submitted for the three (3) vacancies, the persons submitting petitions will be deemed elected and no election will be held.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that according to state law and the Bylaws of the District, those entitled to vote on business coming before the meeting are every owner of land and entryman within the District, and every person or corporation which is a party to a contract with the District for the purchase of water to be furnished by the District.

The meeting will be held in a manner so as to allow participants to physically distance themselves from other participants.
