Successful applicant will receive a $1,000.00 scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded during the first year at the beginning of second semester to institution. Applicant must be a child of a member of Tripp County Water User District or a resident in one of TCWUD participating communities. The applicant must attend a South Dakota Post-Secondary educational facility and have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher. Please compose a typed 250-500 word essay on what rural water has done for you or your community (title is of your choosing) and submit with a completed application from your school’s guidance office. A current photo is also required to be used for publicity purposes and Tripp County Water User District reserves the right to print any and all essays that have been submitted.
